Cooperation in the competition

Pannon Automotive Cluster (PANAC) is an innovative network based cooperation of businesses and organizations with interests in the automotive industry organized on a voluntary basis, founded on mutual benefits.

PANAC has been established with the active participation of Hungary's largest automotive enterprises and the suppoert by the West Transdanubian Regional Development Council.

Pannon Automotive Cluster's intention is above all to comply with the integration of the hungarian automotive industry with the achievement of the complex supplier task. The beneficiaries of PANAC activities can be appointed mainly the hungarian automotive small-, or medium enterprises.

Mission of PANAC:

  • Promoting the production and the localization of automotive moduls and systems;
  • Assisting in improvement of hungarian owned supplier companies in order to be able to produce and to develop complex systems and tools;
  • Developing the readiness of national researchers community to participate in automotive - and international as well - development projects.

Intentions of PANAC:

  • Fostering the process of hungarian suppliers to be able to latch on to the global supplier chains;
  • Backing up our partners to reach the level of capability to produce high quality and more complex products with high added value - to improve thier position in the supplier chain with this;
  • Taking an active part in the definition of the national automotive strategy;
  • Our aim is to became a recognised reference basis in Hungary and throughout Europe for the partners - both in governmental level and in the automotive sector;
  • To make the network and its members more internationalized.
