REGINS - REGional standardized INterfaces for a better integration of regional SME's in the European Economy

Regional development policies currently focus on supporting local cluster structures aiming to maintain the innovativeness and competitiveness of regional economies. REGINS, an Interreg IIIC Regional Framework Operation, focuses on the European dimension of such cluster management strategies and pursues two main goals:

  • the inter-regional Benchmarking of regional cluster management strategies and
  • the inter-regional co-operation between regional clusters.

The project was designed to ensure a sustainable cluster policy and a knowledge transfer between research institutions, small and medium-sized eterprises (SME's) and development agencies of different European regions.
